, and then you can see, we have four to six inch bes for much of new york state as well as into connecticut and new york. not necessarily new york city getting as hard-hit with this storm. several inches expected. what's fastcinating when talkin about a nor'easter system, as it develops off the coast, depending where the low pressure is centered, that will determine how much snow cities like boston and providence get. but the latest computer modelling are saying we could see six inches or more for the boston area. that's why a winter storm warning is now in place. so the snow will begin later on today and continue through the night, and it may be something you have to plow or shovel out by the time we get to tomorrow morning. we'll be watching this very closely. you can see that the winter weather advisory is a little less for the cape, because you have that ocean moisture and ocean temperatures a little bit milder and that influences whether you get snow or rain. again, this looks like a powerful storm. here's the computer model showing we could see over a foot of snow in parts of massachu

of newtown, connecticut, 60 miles outside of new york city right now working through it together. ali? >> reporter: one of the things that's going to happen, we are going to hear the names. there's a lot of effort to find out who the victims were. police are saying very clearly, this was a real difficult task to identify. they had tentative identifications on everybody by last night. they wanted positive identifications and were not going to let their kids, they were not going to let the parents into the school to see their kids in that situation. so we are waiting for that momentarily. the parents know who their kids are, obviously, the children didn't come home last night. the bodies are still in the building, and that's an active crime scene, but there's also another active crime scene in this city, john. >> reporter: the one name police already released is adam lanza. he carried out the attack on the elementary school. when they arrived at his home, they made a startling discovery. mary snow is at lanza's home. mary, what did police find there? >> reporter: john, police found the

for a pro-choice candidate when mayor giuliani, he's pro-choice, he's a republican, he won here in new york city as a republican and he was a frontrunner back in 2008, if you remember. before we went into the primaries and had such a disastrous campaign, he was a pro-choice candidate who was 22 points up among evangelicals because they saw him as such a strong and courageous leader and america's mayor. i think that there is room for that. i think those two candidates that you mentioned -- it wasn't so much their position on abortion or being pro-life per se. it was one had a much more extreme position and the other one was just sort of medieval. he had this really bizarre idea about women. i don't even want to get into it. it was ridiculous. and as you saw, the gop absolutely denounced his views on that. >> let me very quickly let maria weigh in here and give you the final word. >> well, so i agree with amy that the gop should get credit for the diversity that they have in governorships, but it's not enough. because leadership positions do actually happen to be very important in congress wh
